What got me started?
In my few years of life, I happened to noticed that almost every library had these strange books that went the wrong way. I saw them in some book fairs and in my Scholastic book orders. They were called Manga
(/ˈmaNGˌga/) and I became hooked. So it got me wondering, what else am I missing on the other side of the world?
What is Manga?
A Japanese genre of cartoons, comic books, and animated films, typically having a science-fiction or fantasy theme. Traditional manga is read from right to left and is most often presented
in black-and-white. Manga is a popular form of Japanese entertainment,
and in fact, many anime shows are based on an original manga, giving
fans another way to enjoy some of their favorite stories.
What else was I missing?
Well that's why I've created this blog. I began to become more interested as the manga covered more than just Japanese culture. They also touch on many of the close by cultures as well as a few farther away. A few random clicks landed me where I am today. Check out the other pages.
